Women in Business (WiB) at Purdue University is a premier student organization dedicated to empowering future female leaders across all industries. In WiB, we don’t just prepare our members for the future; we help shape it.
Our community is built on the belief that meaningful change begins when people invest in one another. Through mentorship, workshops, leadership development, and everyday support, WiB helps students grow with confidence and purpose.
As the world continues to change, preserving and strengthening the spaces that uplift future women leaders has never mattered more. WiB remains committed to providing a place where students feel seen, valued, and inspired to lead with intention.

Our organization is intentionally exclusive. In our most recent recruitment cycle for the 2024-2025 academic year, we received over 300 applicants and extended memberships to just over 40 new members. This selectivity ensures that sponsors interact with students who are not only academically strong but also committed to personal and professional development.
WiB members actively seek career growth, mentorship, and leadership opportunities. Unlike traditional career fairs or open events, our programs offer a more intimate and focused environment, allowing for genuine connections with top talent pre-vetted through a selective process.

The Butterfly Effect Fund is a giving initiative created to support the long-term growth and accessibility of Purdue Women in Business. Inspired by the idea that small actions can create meaningful and lasting change, the fund invites alumni, supporters, and friends of WiB to contribute through small recurring donations in any amount.
These contributions help sustain the mentorship, professional development, and community-building opportunities that define WiB. By supporting the Butterfly Effect Fund, donors play a direct role in empowering future leaders and ensuring that every member has access to meaningful experiences throughout their time at Purdue.
