OUR MISSION:
Purdue University’s Women in Business serves its members by helping them grow their networks, connecting them with professional opportunities, and building a community of support within the Daniels School of Business.
To provide our members with the best opportunties to grow professionally and personally, WiB focuses on three types of meetings:
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
WiB hosts professional development meetings featuring representatives from well-known companies who lead discussions and workshops focused on career growth and gain insights into different professional industries.
These sessions also offer valuable networking opportunities, with many companies sending recruiters to engage directly with members. This year, WiB welcomed speakers from organizations such as Eli Lilly, John Deere, Polaris, KPMG, Deloitte, and Charles Schwab.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership events offer engaging and relaxed settings for WiB members to connect! Past activities have included bowling at the Union, seasonal movie nights, a golf workshop, attending a Purdue women's basketball game, and cycling at the Co-Rec.
These events give members the chance to meet new people, strengthen relationships, and build a sense of community within the organization.
WiB WEDNESDAYS
During WiB Wednesdays, all members come together for announcements and short activities. These meetings keep members informed and involved in the organization.

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNTIES
WiB supports and encourages the development of leadership skills through opportunities to lead our organization through President, Vice President, and Director positions.
New opportunities to fill these positions opens every year and serve as a great way to deepen your involvement with WiB, grow your network, and develop your professional skills.
